Born in Dallas, Texas, Gary Robinson is a writer, filmmaker, workshop presenter, and lecturer of Choctaw and Cherokee Indian descent. For 40 years, he participated in the production of more than 100 educational, informational, training and documentary television projects, primarily on Native American topics. His first non-fiction book, From Warriors to Soldiers, was published in 2008 and explored the history of Native American service in the US armed forces. In 2016, he published the first book in his Lands of our Ancestors historical novel series.
